**How to Detail A dirty BMW In Calgary?**

We are a car detailing shop located in the beautiful city of Calgary Alberta and we are ranked amongst the best detailing shops in Calgary, and today we will show you how we apply a full exterior and interior detail for this super dirty BMW, this is a 2015 BMW 528i series so this will be an insane transformation, so, I recommend watching the full video until the end.

This Dirty Luxury BMW is a daily driven family car, as it belongs to a mother of two, the weather conditions in Calgary Alberta didn’t help much, as we had a harsh winter this year, so no wonder how dirty the car is from the interior and the exterior.

First, let’s take a look at the before shots of this dirty BMW full detail, before we explain our 12 steps detailing process:

Now, in order to achieve this complete exterior and interior detailing of this super dirty BMW, we will apply the following eleven steps:

Step 1: Exterior Water rinse.

Before we start our 12-step detailing process, just to make sure in case you live in a city like Calgary, and you had your car outside during this harsh winter season with all of the snow, the salt and the dirt on the streets, then we recommend bringing your car inside a warm garage and letting the car dry for a few hours before you start your detail.

So, the first step is a simple exterior water rinse, this will allow us to remove most of the mud and the dirt from the wheels and from the car exterior before we apply a full exterior hand wash using the two-bucket system.

Step 2: Wheel’s Deep cleaning.

Now, we will clean the wheels, the tires and the rims, and for this purpose we are using a few tire brushes, and“Maguire’s”“Ultimate all-wheel cleaner”, this is a very efficient product as it is a degreaser and as it breaks the dust and the dirt before we apply any brushes to the wheels and tires, you can either use this product before rinsing the tire or after rinsing the wheel.

Step 3: Exterior Paint degreasing.

Now, before I apply the full exterior hand wash, I’m going to apply the “Iron remover” by “Gyeon”, which does the same role as a degreaser but for the car exterior paint, you may not see the effect but this actually turns into pink after it removes all the grease and salt and the mineral residue from the car exterior paint.

Step 4: Two-Bucket Hand wash.

Now we’re going to start the full exterior hand wash as you will see I’m using the two-bucket system which is the safest way to hand wash your car exterior without damaging the exterior paint, so one bucket I’m going to put “Mr. pink” by “the chemical guys” which is our car wash soap, and the other bucket I’m going to put a guard and this is where I’m going to wash the mitt after every usage in order to remove all the suds and the dirt before re-applying the hand wash again.

Step 5: Car Exterior Drying.

After we finish the full exterior hand wash and after we finish the final rinse it’s very important to dry the car exterior and for this purpose, we are using very soft and dry and very clean microfiber towels, we are going to dry the glass and the car exterior paint and we will make sure there is no more water residue or watermark left behind.

Step 6: Tire’s Dressing.

For the tire’s dressing we are using “Mother’s”“Back to black.”

Step 7: Floor Mats Cleaning.

After we finish the full car exterior hand wash and hand dry, we are going to start the car interior detailing. First, we will remove the personal items of the customer, then we’ll remove the floor mats.We start by cleaning the floor mats using an “LVP” by “3D” that’s a leather vinyl and plastic cleaner and all-purpose cleaner by 3D car care products.

Step 8: Car Interior Vacuuming.

Now, we’ll start the full interior vacuuming of this dirty BMW, so we’re using a very soft horse hair brush to vacuum all the vinyl inside the car, the dashboard, the center console and also the leather seats we will also vacuum the car interior carpet.

Step 9: Car Interior Vinyl, Plastic and rubber cleaning.

The next step,will be cleaning the car interior doors, dashboard, center console, the steering wheel and also the steps, for this purpose we are using a soft horse-hair brush and , ” LVP” cleaner by “3D”, that’s a leather, vinyl and plastic cleaner, an all-purpose cleaner by 3D car care.

Step 10: Leather Seats cleaning and conditioning.

Next, we will be cleaning and conditioning the car interior leather seats, so to clean the car interior leather seats, we are using leather strong by Gyeon, for conditioning we are using “the chemical guy’s” leather conditioner.

To dry the leather seats, we will use very clean micro-fiber towels.

Step 11: Car interior Carpet shampooing and extraction.

So now we have arrived to a very important step of this complete exterior and interior detailing of this super dirty BMW; car interior carpet shampooing and extraction, for shampooing we are using upholstery and carpet cleaner by 3D and for extraction we are using Bissell spot clean.
